Bible Christian Chapel - March, 1899.

On Good Friday a large number of friends sat down to a tea provided in the schoolroom. The following ladies presided at the tea tables: -

A meeting was afterwards held in the chapel, when the following programme was gone through: -

Duet "O Beautiful Home." Mr. C Middleton and Miss M. Lane

Solo "The Harbour Bell." Mrs. J. Gillard

Essay "True Penitance." Mrs. G. Webber

Duet "Come Home." Mrs. W. Slocombe and Miss M. Lane

Address Mr. Williams

Duet "I Thirst." Miss B. Lane and Mrs. G. Webber

Essay "Christian Triumphs." Miss Mabel Lane

Anthem "Thou wilt keep Him in Perfect Peace." Choir

Address Mr. Squire

Anthem "Exalt Him all ye Nations." Choir

Short addresses were also given by Mr. W. Gillard, Mrs. J. Gillard and Mr. W. H. Oatey, the latter taking the chair. Miss M. Lane presided at the harmonium. There was a good audience and the programme was much enjoyed.
